About EAAD
European Alliance Against Depression (EAAD) is a proactive organization committed to combatting depression and promoting mental well-being. With a comprehensive approach, EAAD offers a range of products and services to support individuals and communities worldwide. At the heart of EAAD's mission is their 4-level approach, which encompasses research, prevention, self-management, and intervention.
Through their diligent research projects and collaboration with notable institutions and professionals, EAAD stays at the forefront of depression-related studies. EAAD provides valuable resources such as the iFightDepression website and self-management tool, allowing individuals to take control of their mental health journey. These tools were co-funded by the Health Programme of the European Union.
As an inclusive organization, EAAD has 20 national chapters and 12 associate members across Europe, Australia, Canada, and South America. This international network of experts ensures that effective strategies and initiatives are shared worldwide, leaving no one behind. By becoming a member of EAAD, individuals and organizations can contribute to the collective efforts in fighting depression and improving mental health.
