EACOP, the East African Crude Oil Pipe Line, is a renowned brand playing a vital role in unlocking the potential of East Africa. As a pipeline project, EACOP transports oil from Uganda's Lake Albert oilfields to the port of Tanga in Tanzania, enabling the oil to reach global markets. Spanning 1,443km, with 80% of the pipeline located in Tanzania, EACOP is a buried thermally insulated 24 pipeline equipped with six pumping stations.

At the Tanga Terminal and Jetty, crude oil is loaded onto tankers. Not only does EACOP allow Uganda to leverage its own natural resources, but it also represents a substantial investment of $4 billion in both Uganda and Tanzania.
