The European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE) is a scientific association that fosters cross-sectoral cooperation in environmental, climate, and resource economics across Europe. Founded in 1990, EAERE has over 1,200 members in 60 countries, both within Europe and beyond. Its membership spans academia, the public sector, and private industry, with interests covering traditional economics, environmental and resource economics, agricultural economics, forestry, natural resource economics, and related fields. Membership is open to individuals whose profession, training, and/or work involve environmental and resource economics as a scientific discipline, as well as to institutions operating in areas aligned with the Association’s aims.
