Eagle Rest Reserve is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, other public servants, and their families through outdoor and artistic restoration activities. Founded by Jeff and Pamela Guinn, the organization grew from Jeff Guinn and Bill Adams’s experience teaching veterans fly tying and fly fishing. Its mission expanded to welcome a broader community of service members and their families.
Eagle Rest Reserve arranges fishing and outdoor trips at locations including Lake Whitney, the Brazos River, and Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The Brazos River Fish Camp also provides trips on the Brazos for participants, whom the organization calls its Eagles. Activities include fly fishing and fly-casting instruction, with Bill Adams serving as boat captain and Janet Adams as a fly-casting instructor. Jeff Guinn coordinates trips, while Pamela Guinn helps care for participants.
The organization invites supporters to contribute through online donations, PayPal, or mailed checks. Its website also features merchandise, a cabin in Pagosa Springs, event and fundraiser updates, and information about the team and its work.
