About EAMDA
EAMDA | Ljubljana is the European Alliance of Neuromuscular Disorders Associations, dedicated to supporting and enhancing the daily lives of individuals affected by neuromuscular disorders (NMDs). Established in London, UK in 1974, EAMDA has since relocated to Valetta, Malta, and finally to its current base in Ljubljana, Slovenia. As the umbrella organization for neuromuscular disorder associations across Europe, EAMDA aims to advocate for the rights and well-being of individuals with NMDs.
They work to raise awareness, facilitate research collaborations, and promote knowledge sharing. Additionally, EAMDA strives to minimize the impact of disabilities and actively supports efforts to develop innovative treatments for neuromuscular diseases.
