About E&S Gallery
E&S Gallery, Inc. Founded in 1989 by Walter Shannon, the gallery is located in Louisville, KY. Today, Walter and his wife Cathy operate the business, offering a wide range of services including custom framing, art publishing, and art sales.
With over 30 years of experience, E&S Gallery has established itself as an award-winning gallery, recognized for its exquisite custom framing and collectible artwork. It has been named the Best Gallery in Kentucky since 2015 and one of the Top 25 Galleries in The U. S.
by American Art Awards. E&S Gallery offers a diverse collection of African-American fine art works, including original and limited edition pieces. Renowned artists such as Elizabeth Catlett, Jacob Lawrence, and Ed Dwight, as well as popular contemporaries like Dean Mitchell and Alice Gatewood Waddell, are featured in their collection.
Their esteemed clientele includes corporations, private collectors, and notable figures like Muhammad Ali and Kanye West's late mother, Dr. Donda West. E&S Gallery has also been featured in national magazines such as Decor and Black Enterprise.
Visit their 11,000+ square foot gallery at 108 S. 10th Street in downtown Louisville. They are open Tuesday to Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM and on Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM (EST).
