About EAPA
EAPA, the European Asphalt Pavement Association, is the leading voice of the European asphalt industry. With a strong reputation since 1973, EAPA works to ensure that asphalt is recognized as the optimal choice for building and maintaining Europe's vital road infrastructure. Over 90% of Europe's road network has an asphalt surface, with more than 4,000 production sites and over 10,000 companies involved in asphalt production and laying.
EAPA's mission is to promote the economic, technical, and societal benefits of asphalt paving through exchange, dissemination, and promotion of information and knowledge. They actively represent their members with stakeholders and focus on key areas such as health, safety, sustainability, quality, climate change, innovation, and digitalization. EAPA engages in collaborative work with associations in Europe and worldwide related to transport infrastructure.
To achieve their objectives, EAPA prepares technical documents, informative publications, and position papers. They organize congresses, conferences, symposia, and workshops for knowledge sharing. EAPA also participates in European standardization committees and prepares and promotes policies on relevant issues.
