Their mission is to teach visionary and practical solutions to social change activists while also empowering visionaries with practical skills, organizing techniques, and activism. Founded by author and activist Starhawk and permaculture designer Penny Livingston-Stark, Earth Activist Training has produced graduates who have gone on to initiate important projects worldwide, including intentional communities, bioremediation efforts, urban community gardens, and campaigns against forest clearcutting and GMOs.
