Earth Sciences Canada, operating as the Canadian Federation of Earth Sciences (CFES), serves as the unified voice for Earth science in Canada. By raising awareness about the importance of Earth science, CFES enhances understanding of its crucial role in environmental, natural hazard, and climate studies. Additionally, they focus on securing and responsibly developing Canada's energy, mineral, and water resources.

CFES offers a range of educational resources, such as the popular book "Four Billion Years and Counting," which delves into Canada's geology and its impact on society. They also provide online platforms like EarthLinks, which offer valuable resources for educators and individuals interested in Earth science. Furthermore, CFES organizes national contests like "The Challenge" to engage students in exploring Earth-related questions.

Join CFES to discover the fascinating world of Earth science and contribute to the sustainable development of Canada's natural resources. Visit their website to learn more about their educational initiatives and resources.
