Earthwarestudios. Karachi (es. k) is a brand that creates original and unique products inspired by and crafted from the earth.
Since 2017, they have been designing pieces for living spaces, dining tables, and decor that are delicately crafted and one-of-a-kind. Earthwarestudios. Karachi aims to support craft families by providing new market avenues for the sale of their products, ultimately increasing their incomes.
This brand strongly believes in supporting communities and sustainable solutions. Artist Shazia Zuberi, the founder of Earthwarestudios. Karachi, has been involved in working with low-income communities, particularly focusing on women and the girl child in Pakistan.
With a background in economics and gender studies, Shazia combines her development work with her passion for art. As a ceramist and studio potter, she finds clay to be a malleable medium that allows her to express herself like no other. Shazia's work reflects the natural and organic forms found in geology and landscapes.
With a portfolio of solo and group shows, she continues to create thought-provoking pieces in her studio in Karachi, Pakistan
