The EAST Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Norway (“Østhandelskammeret” in Norwegian) is a dynamic non-profit organization operating within Black Sea Region, Nordic Baltic Countries, and Caspian Sea Region. We specialize in various sectors of cooperation, including aquaculture, maritime industry, education, maintaining, and other industries. Our mission is the promotion of robust partner relations and the facilitation of collaboration and growth opportunities across diverse industries and regions. Our primary objective is to strengthen and cultivate business relations between Norway and the countries of the regions of cooperation. As a multilateral business network, we proudly boast major Norwegian companies among our esteemed members, alongside central business organizations such as the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), Eksfin, Innovation Norway, Norwegian Seafood Council, Norwegian Shipowners’ Association, Norwegian Fishermen’s Association, universities, and SMEs. About EAST CCI of Norway
East CCI of Norway, also known as Østhandelskammeret, is a prominent non-profit, non-governmental, and non-political organization operating in regions across Nordic Baltic Countries, Central, Southeast, Eastern Europe, and Eurasia. With approximately 100 members, including industry giants like Jotun and Aker Solutions, the East CCI facilitates business relations between Norway and Partner Countries. They offer services in import, export, shipping, business development, tourism, and investment advice.
The Chamber's Board of Directors comprises representatives from leading companies and organizations, promoting cooperation and understanding across various sectors. Committed to ethical business practices, the East CCI has decided not to engage in joint activities in the Russian market during the ongoing conflict with Ukraine. By fostering mutual understanding and enhancing business culture, the East CCI of Norway aims to strengthen ties and promote growth between Norway and its Partner Countries.
