Схід SOS

East SOS is a Ukrainian charitable foundation supporting people affected by armed conflict and internally displaced people. Its work combines emergency assistance with longer-term efforts to protect human rights, strengthen communities and support democratic change. The foundation’s services include evacuation from frontline areas, help finding temporary accommodation, and a call centre that receives requests for support and shares information about available services. It also provides legal, psychological and social assistance, humanitarian supplies, and support for people with disabilities and others with limited mobility.

East SOS helps equip temporary shelters, care facilities and educational institutions, and repairs homes damaged by shelling in frontline communities. Its education work includes guidance for young people from occupied and frontline areas seeking admission to Ukrainian universities, as well as training and psychosocial support for educators and communities. The foundation documents suspected war crimes and monitors needs, damage and access to social services in affected areas. Through its Zatyshno Space centres, it offers free psychological, legal and social support to people affected by war and violence.
