East-Westflying is a powered-paragliding flight school serving the Hannover region and Heidekreis in northern Germany. It offers individual training for aspiring pilots, with a personal instructor, flexible scheduling and a focus on safety. Students can train in five powered-paraglider categories: foot-launched equipment, single-seat trikes, lightweight tandem trikes, tandem trikes for the over-120-kilogram class, and the Xcitor, which has its own training pathway.
Instruction includes pre-flight briefings, practical training and radio support during training flights. East-Westflying also introduces students to the equipment, explaining motors, harnesses and wings and offering advice on purchasing suitable new or used gear. For people who want to experience flying before committing to lessons, the school provides tandem sightseeing flights in a two-seat trike.
These flights require no prior experience and are piloted by an experienced flyer, with routes over the region’s fields, forests and open countryside. East-Westflying presents itself as a modern, small-scale school where learners receive individual attention and progress at their own pace
