East Kingdom

The East Kingdom is a vibrant region within the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. (SCA), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the research and recreation of pre-seventeenth century arts, culture, and skills. Covering a wide area that includes eastern Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and parts of Canada, the East Kingdom invites individuals of all ages to engage actively in its rich tapestry of historical experiences. Here, members participate in a variety of activities, including creating period clothing, learning calligraphy, and participating in combat sports like armored fighting, fencing, and archery.

The organization hosts numerous events throughout the year, featuring everything from tournaments and feasts to special learning workshops focused on specific crafts. Whether you're a newcomer or a seasoned participant, the East Kingdom encourages exploration and engagement, welcoming you to join its community in re-creating the experiences of the Middle Ages.
