The Easton Book Festival is a vibrant annual celebration of literature, welcoming participants of all ages. Established as the sixth annual event in 2024, the festival offers an array of engaging literary programs, including readings, seminars, open mic performances, and panel discussions. Themes explored range from mystery and memoir to social justice and journalism, providing a platform for diverse voices and stories.

Set in various venues such as the Sigal Museum, Nurture Nature Center, and local libraries, the festival extends its reach to the community, featuring a school tour that introduces children’s authors to Easton’s elementary schools. Highlights include events like a Small Press Expo, conversations with renowned journalists, and interactive workshops that encourage storytelling and writing.

Thanks to generous sponsorship, particularly from Lafayette College, the vast majority of activities are free and accessible to the public, fostering a love for literature and learning. The Easton Book Festival not only celebrates the written word but also strengthens community connections through shared cultural experiences.
