Easton Farmers' Market, a subsidiary of Greater Easton Development Partnership (GEDP), is America's longest continuous running open-air market. Established in 1752, the year of the City's founding, the market has been a hub for farmers and merchants for over two and a half centuries. Situated at the confluence of the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers and close to Philadelphia and New York City, Easton provides an ideal location for regional commerce and community gatherings.
The market offers a wide array of products and services, including produce, dairy, meat, eggs, bakery and confectionery items, specialty foods and beverages, blooms and botanicals, restaurants and cafes, local libations, and art and crafts. Visitors can shop for fresh produce, handcrafted wares, and enjoy a vibrant shopping experience steeped in Easton's rich heritage. In response to the coronavirus pandemic, the market has moved to Scott Park on the riverside, ensuring ample space for vendors and shoppers in a safe environment.
From May to December, the market operates every Saturday from 9am to 1pm, while the winter season from January to April sees the market on the 300 Block of Northampton St. Easton Farmers' Market is more than just a market; it embodies the incomparable community spirit and is a must-visit destination for locals and tourists alike
