Eastwind Horse Transport

Eastwind Horse Transport is a small, dedicated horse-hauling company based in West Central Alberta, serving clients across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, with connections to eastern Canada and the United States. Operating since 2008, the company emphasizes safe, dependable transport, personalized care, and ethical standards for horses ranging from competition animals to backyard ponies.

Services include local shipping in Central Alberta, long-distance transport, shared loads, direct charter bookings, and group bookings for shows and events. Eastwind also offers shuttle service to coordinate with other shippers, along with emergency and roadside transport when the truck is nearby. For horses needing a temporary stop, the homebase farm near Rimbey provides overnight or short-term layover board, with private paddocks and video monitoring. Daily, weekly, and monthly stays are available, and shuttle service to and from the homebase can be arranged.

With more than 35 years of experience in the horse industry, Eastwind aims to make each journey reliable and attentive, supported by communication and regular care during transport.
