About EAVCA
EAVCA is a business membership organization that serves as the voice of private capital investors in East Africa. Founded in 2013, their mission is to promote partnerships between capital providers and businesses in the region while showcasing investment opportunities in East Africa. With offices in Kenya and a regional office in Uganda, EAVCA brings together public stakeholders, local businesses, and private investors, fostering dialogue and industry insights to create a sustainable ecosystem that drives economic growth, social and environmental welfare, and wealth creation in the region.
Their membership includes development finance institutions, private equity and venture capital funds, impact funds, family offices, and intermediary advisory companies. EAVCA acts as the collective voice of the private capital industry, advocating for the sector with governments, regulators, and other industry associations.
