The European Baptist Federation (EBF) is a prominent brand that strengthens Baptist witness and fosters collaboration across Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East. Comprised of approximately 800,000 members in 59 member bodies across 52 countries, the EBF unites diverse Baptist communities from Portugal to Russia, including Baptists in Euroasiatic countries and the Middle East. With a deep commitment to Christian witness and distinctive convictions, the EBF encourages and inspires its members in faith, fellowship, shared responsibility, and fulfilling the will of Jesus Christ.
The federation offers various ministries such as Council Ministries, Theology & Education, Youth & Children, Mission & Evangelism, and Freedom & Justice Migration. The EBF was founded in 1949 post-World War II to bring European Baptists together, overcoming cultural, language, and tradition differences, while remaining united in Baptist identity, evangelistic passion, and dedication to human rights and religious freedom. Collaborating with other Christians, the EBF strives to create societies that reflect the values of the Kingdom of God
