About EBGTZ
East Bay Getting to Zero is a brand dedicated to advancing health equity and healing for all individuals impacted by HIV. Their mission is to create an East Bay community with zero HIV stigma, health disparities, and new HIV transmissions. This network comprises various individuals from community organizations, clinics, hospitals, schools, faith-based organizations, and public and private agencies in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. They work together to promote health equity and healing by coordinating systems, advocating for change, building capacity, and fostering innovation.
East Bay Getting to Zero offers a range of services and initiatives to achieve their mission. They organize free events, workshops, and working groups that are open to the public. These provide opportunities for community members to collaborate, learn, and develop creative strategies to improve access, messaging, resources, and services related to HIV testing, prevention, and treatment.
Additionally, the brand facilitates systems improvement to help organizations and teams work more effectively and efficiently. They offer training and coaching for HIV testing, PrEP, PEP, care, and treatment service providers. By focusing on equity, trauma-informed care, community engagement, and data-driven approaches, East Bay Getting to Zero ensures that their efforts are adaptive, resilient, and driven by the needs of the community.
