EBI-Sports is a sports club serving the Langedijk and Heerhugowaard area, with activities for children and adults. The club combines exercise and fitness with a welcoming, sociable atmosphere. Its roots date to 2007, when Frank Scholtes took over Sportstudio Balance in Tuitjenhorn and continued its judo classes. A Noord-Scharwoude location followed in 2008, and the club adopted the EBI-Sports name as it expanded its activities.
The club offers judo lessons, including a free first lesson, alongside conditioning and group training. Members can also join outdoor bootcamp sessions, described as hour-long full-body workouts focused on strength and fitness, and training on Stepperbikes. Personal training is available in the gym, outdoors, or at home, with a trainer helping each client work toward their goals. Small-group circuit training provides coaching in a compact group, with participants training at their own level; it is also open to people with physical limitations or injuries. EBI-Sports offers a free first judo or group-training session and invites prospective members to try a class.
