Ebned

Ebned is a Dutch energy-brokering service that helps individuals and businesses compare offers from energy suppliers and manage the switch to a new contract. Founded by energy experts, the company aims to make energy choices more transparent, personal and straightforward. Customers provide basic details about their property and energy use, after which Ebned compares three supplier offers and discusses them by phone. Offers can also be sent by email with the customer’s permission.

Ebned’s trained advisers explain contract terms and price structures in clear language, drawing on their knowledge of energy contracts, supplier tariffs and daily market prices. Customers receive a dedicated account manager who can answer questions by phone or email. If a customer chooses an offer, Ebned guides them through enrolment with the new supplier and the switching process. The service covers both household and business energy, including information on dynamic tariffs and live energy prices. Renewable energy may be available depending on the supplier and contract, with Guarantees of Origin used where applicable.
