About EBRD Green
EBRD Green Cities is a program that aims to help cities invest in sustainable municipal infrastructure, with over EUR 5 billion in funding. The program extends across the EBRD's diverse and vibrant regions, including Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, North Africa, and the Middle East.
Through the Green Cities initiative, more than 50 cities have committed to becoming green and have adopted the Green City Action Plan methodology. The program takes a comprehensive approach to identifying and prioritizing environmental challenges, connecting them with infrastructure investments and policy measures.
The resource hub offers access to videos, event recordings, publications, and news, providing a wealth of information and opportunities for learning, sharing, and engagement with the EBRD Green Cities community.
With an emphasis on long-term vision and green development, EBRD Green Cities aims to reduce CO2 emissions, remove cars from the road, and mobilize EBRD/Donor finance for sustainable urban development. Join us in building a greener, more sustainable future for our cities.
