Eppelheimer Carneval Club 1974 e.V.

Eppelheimer Carneval Club 1974 e.V. is a carnival association based in Eppelheim, in Germany’s Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. Founded in 1974, the club celebrates Fastnacht through community events, performances, and activities for participants of different ages. Its program includes a council of eleven, carnival speakers, dance groups, junior and other guard teams, show-dance groups, and solo performers. The club welcomes new dancers, including children, and invites people to join, support, or sponsor its work.

Throughout the season, the ECC hosts events such as the Eppelheim town hall takeover, the Gardeball, the Ordensmatinee, a carnival tram outing, and its major ceremonial session at the Rudolf-Wild-Halle. The club also provides event information and ticket sales, shares news and photos, and communicates through social media and WhatsApp. Beyond carnival celebrations, it supports community initiatives, including a reported donation to a children’s and youth village. Eppelheimer Carneval Club presents Fastnacht as a lively cultural tradition sustained by local participation and shared enjoyment.
