Premio Eccellenze Italiane, in its seventh edition, recognizes prominent figures in the Italian cultural world, and the latest nominee is the esteemed Contessa Maria Vittoria Colonna Rimbotti. Born and raised in Naples, she later moved to Florence after marrying Count Vittorio Emanuele Rimbotti. Contessa Maria Vittoria Colonna Rimbotti has consistently demonstrated her exceptional commitment to cultural and social endeavors.
Not only has she played a key role in managing and promoting cultural initiatives, but she has also been an unwavering advocate for women's rights. Her extensive contributions include serving as the President of the CIDD (Italian Committee for the Defense of Women, later renamed CIRS) and leading the Tuscan Delegation of A. I.
D. D. A (Association of Women Entrepreneurs and Business Executives).
Furthermore, she has been a vital force as the President of "Amici degli Uffizi" and its American counterpart, "Friends of the Uffizi," overseeing funds for numerous restorations and acquisitions.
