About ECCHR
ECCHR, the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights, is an organization dedicated to countering injustice by upholding the law. Their mission is to fight for a world free from torture, exploitation, and closed borders. Through their global network, they work to defend human rights and expose wrongdoing in both the courts and society.
With a focus on topics such as war crimes, business and human rights, border justice, and climate, ECCHR strives for global justice. They recently filed a complaint against automotive giants VW, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz for allegedly using raw materials and components produced through forced labor in the Uighur region. They have also supported the daughter of Jamshid Sharmahd, a German citizen sentenced to death in Iran, in filing a complaint against top Iranian justice and intelligence officials.
ECCHR is a non-profit organization, relying entirely on donations and funding to put an end to impunity for human rights violations. They are committed to challenging power imbalances, sparking social and political debates, and contributing to global social justice. They also collaborate with universities, provide training for human rights defenders, and work with artists to raise awareness and visualize pressing issues.
