The Early Childhood Educators of BC (ECEBC) is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the professional development of early childhood educators in British Columbia. Established in partnership with the provincial government, ECEBC administers the ECE Education Support Fund (ECE ESF) which provides financial assistance through two primary funding streams: the Early Childhood Education Student Bursary and the Early Childhood Education Workforce Development Bursary. Since September 2018, this initiative has aimed to alleviate the financial barriers faced by educators pursuing their professional credentials and development.

Interested applicants can create an online account to access the bursary application portal, where they can select from various bursary types based on their needs. The application process includes detailed steps to ensure that educators can easily navigate and submit their applications. ECEBC also offers resources, information sessions, and eligibility criteria on their website, fostering a supportive environment for early childhood education professionals in the province
