East China Fair, or ECF for short, is the largest regional trade fair in China, attracting traders from around the world and boasting the highest turnover. Established in 1991, this annual event takes place in March in Shanghai and is supported by the Ministry of Commerce, co-organized by nine provinces and cities. The 29th East China Fair covered an impressive area of 123,650 square meters, featuring 5,868 standard booths and five themed exhibitions showcasing garments, textiles, home products, gifts, and modern lifestyle.

With over 4,000 exhibitors from across the globe, including 16 countries and regions, last year's event attracted more than 14,600 domestic traders and 22,700 business people from 109 countries and regions, resulting in a trading value of $2. 3 billion. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the 30th East China Fair took place online and successfully facilitated international trade, with more than 15,000 professional visitors from 52 countries and regions.
