Echocentrum het Lichtpunt is a pregnancy ultrasound centre in Nuth, South Limburg, with more than 20 years of experience. It provides professional medical scans and elective keepsake ultrasounds in a warm, quiet setting, combining clear explanations and personal attention with a focus on the experience of expectant parents.

Medical services include the 13- and 20-week pregnancy scans. Parents can choose to have these examinations at the centre or in hospital. Het Lichtpunt works with midwives and the Regional Centre for Prenatal Screening (MUMC+) in Maastricht, and states that its care meets national quality requirements. After each scan, the sonographer personally shares the results.

The centre also offers black-and-white and colour keepsake scans, available from 10 weeks of pregnancy. From 15 weeks, the baby’s sex can be identified with 99% certainty, and the information can be written down on request. For a 4D HDlive scan, the centre recommends weeks 26 to 29. Its approach aims to make each visit reassuring, informative and memorable.
