Echopraktijk Drechtsteden is an ultrasound practice founded in 2006 by Marga Rietveld, a medically trained sonographer with university-level education. The practice offers pregnancy scans in a relaxed setting, allowing expectant parents to view their baby using 2D, 3D and 4D ultrasound. Services include keepsake scans, gender determination from 16 weeks, and fertility scans for people who are trying to conceive. The practice advises that the ideal period for a 3D or 4D scan is between 25 and 30 weeks of pregnancy.

Appointments can be booked directly through the practice’s online calendar. A 10-minute 2D scan costs €47.50, a 20-minute 3D/4D scan costs €85, and a fertility scan costs €75. Each 3D/4D scan includes a complimentary USB containing moving images, sound and photographs in JPEG format. Appointments after 6 p.m., on weekends and on public holidays incur a €10 surcharge.
