Created in 2023, ECHO Sahel is the result of the collaboration between three development professionals who decided to combine their skills in architecture, civil engineering, and project management, pooling their individual experience of about ten years each in the sector of development and sustainable adapted housing. At ECHO Sahel, we believe that every construction action is a development act in its own right. Infrastructures are not just buildings; they are edifices meant to serve the communities they are intended for and have the power to transform a territory. As a development actor, it is our responsibility to ensure that the impact of these constructions is as virtuous as possible, respecting the dignity of the users and their environment. Therefore, our mission is to provide development actors with building solutions that maximize the positive impacts of their projects. We approach every phase of the project cycle by integrating the issue of sustainable housing and construction in a transversal manner, at the heart of the project's challenges. To ensure the relevance of our proposals, we work to create a space for dialogue to connect every link in the chain of development actors, from those who identify needs and make requests to those who finance and implement the identified solutions. To successfully carry out the projects we are involved in, we mobilize a network of professionals in the sustainable construction sector (West African masons, as well as professionals in solar energy, hydraulics, etc.), alongside development actors, serving the targeted territories and communities.
