ECIAAA

East Central Illinois Area Agency on Aging (ECIAAA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1972, dedicated to improving the lives of older adults, persons with disabilities, caregivers, and grandparents. Under the federal Older Americans Act and the Illinois Act on Aging, ECIAAA plans and administers a wide range of services tailored to meet the diverse needs of the East Central Illinois community. With a mission to empower the optimal aging of individuals and their care partners, ECIAAA offers comprehensive service delivery, including access services, healthy aging programs, in-home services, caregiver support programs, community services, and elder rights programs.

They strive to promote health, strength, independence, dignity, and autonomy for older persons, persons with disabilities, and families caring for older persons and grandchildren. Serving 16 counties in East Central Illinois, ECIAAA collaborates with local communities to provide inclusive resources and services that enhance the quality of life for over 184,000 individuals. Governed by a Corporate Board and advised by an Advisory Council, ECIAAA ensures that services are tailored to the needs and preferences of older persons and their caregivers.
