Éclipse Film is a Budapest-based independent film production company founded in 2011 by Julianna Ugrin. With a focus on high-quality productions, our company specializes in documentaries, author fiction films, commercials, and corporate films on an international level. However, our primary focus and passion lie in creative documentaries.

We pride ourselves on connecting young, talented Hungarian filmmakers with experienced industry professionals, resulting in outstanding films that have participated in renowned festivals such as SUNDANCE, IDFA, HotDocs, DOK Leipzig, Sarajevo IFF, and CPH:DOX, among others. Julianna Ugrin, our founder and producer, is an EFA-nominated producer with a wealth of experience and expertise in the industry. She has produced award-winning films like A Woman Captured, Easy Lessons, and The Next Guardian, which have been celebrated at festivals like Sundance, IDFA, Locarno, Hot Docs, and Sheffield.
