The Eco-Adventist Initiative (EAI) is a ministry dedicated to cultivating environmentally-conscious Seventh-day Adventists worldwide. The philosophy of EAI centers on our role as stewards of the Earth, recognizing that while the wellbeing of the natural world is not superior to that of human beings, it is still significant. In line with biblical teachings, we believe that living in harmony with all life – people, animals, and the planet – is essential, and that caring for Creation is a responsibility bestowed upon us by God (Genesis 2:15). By valuing and preserving God's Creation, we glorify the Lord and acknowledge His character and majesty (Romans 1:20).

Our approach, known as the "One Health" concept, recognizes the interconnectedness of human wellbeing, animal welfare, and the natural environment. Embracing this holistic perspective, we seek to promote the overall health and wellness of humanity. We draw inspiration from the Adventist health message, which also emphasizes the benefits of nature to human wellbeing.

EAI offers a range of resources, including biblical teachings, Ellen G. White writings, sermons, SDA beliefs, books and articles, as well as partnerships with organizations such as Interfaith Power & Light and Humane Society International. We encourage churches, institutions, and individuals to get involved through various actions and opportunities, both at a communal and personal level. Together, we can strive towards a sustainable and harmonious future for all.
