Eco-Schools Greece is a network for environmental education that supports schools in making sustainability part of everyday learning and school life. Coordinated in Greece by the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature, the programme is part of an international network coordinated by the Foundation for Environmental Education. It invites schools to work together on practical environmental issues, including reducing waste and saving energy and water at school and at home.

The network provides guidance on the programme’s seven-step process, informational materials, action-reporting forms, and professional development seminars for primary and secondary educators. Schools can share news and examples of their activities, explore other participating schools, and take part in meetings and student festivals. The programme also recognizes participating schools for their work, including through the Green Flag award. Its website serves as a hub for programme updates, school projects, participation information, and resources that help educators and students plan and communicate environmental actions.
