About Ecoaction
Ecoaction is a brand that is dedicated to creating positive environmental change in Ukraine. They work together with 50 Ukrainian communities to advocate for the inclusion of renewable energy in aid packages from the United States. Recently, they sent a joint letter to US officials expressing gratitude for humanitarian support to Ukraine and emphasizing the importance of including renewable energy technologies in this assistance.
While diesel generators have helped communities cope with power outages, Ecoaction believes that renewable energy technologies can provide long-term solutions by enhancing energy independence and promoting a cleaner environment. In their letter, Ecoaction proposed considering renewable energy as an option for future aid packages to hospitals, schools, kindergartens, water supply systems, and wastewater treatment systems. They highlighted their recent green recovery initiatives, showcasing how solar panels and heat pumps can provide sustainable energy solutions for schools
