Eco Avengers is an Australian education program that helps primary school students learn about sustainability and practical ways to protect the planet. Led by mascot Avenger Alex and his team, the program aims to engage, educate and inspire children to become everyday environmental heroes who can encourage positive habits at home and school.

Its school presentations are tailored to different year levels and run for 45 minutes each. Schools can choose from six topics: understanding waste and the principles of refusing, reducing, reusing, recycling, REDcycle and composting; organic waste and composting; the effects of waste on the planet; water conservation; food insecurity and poverty; and climate change. Lessons include age-appropriate activities, with take-home resources designed to involve students’ families. The program can also be customised to suit a school’s needs.

Eco Avengers encourages schools to book presentations and offers bonuses when all three sessions in a bundle are booked. It also supports community organisations through donations linked to bookings for selected sessions, including The Smith Family and Foodbank.
