ecoCaledon

For three decades, it has worked to inform residents about environmental issues affecting the area and encourage choices and actions that support a sustainable future. Its activities bring people together to care for local land, water, air, plants, and wildlife.

The organization offers community programs and events focused on practical environmental action and learning. Its popular Repair Cafés help extend the life of household items by connecting residents with volunteer fixers who collaborate on repairs and share their skills. Through Gratitude for Food, volunteers prepare plant-based meals for donation to The Exchange, combining community participation with support for people in need. ecoCaledon also promotes workshops, clean-ups, learning opportunities, and other events, including activities held with community partners.

Residents can explore sustainability information, attend events, volunteer, become members, or make donations. With welcoming volunteers and a focus on reducing waste, building knowledge, and strengthening community connections, ecoCaledon helps Caledon residents take part in caring for their local environment.
