SEIC

The Spanish Society of Cardiac Imaging (SEIC) is a professional community for experts and people interested in cardiac imaging, with a focus on sharing knowledge and supporting clinical education in Spanish. Its website provides members with access to a broad collection of learning materials, clinical resources, case studies, guidelines, publications, and society events.

SEIC offers online and flexible training, including more than 20 practical and intensive courses covering echocardiography, cardiac CT and MRI, stress imaging, vascular ultrasound, strain, diastolic function, congenital heart disease, and other specialist topics. The courses are designed to support practical clinical skills and are led by experienced clinicians; the site states that its training carries ECTS-CASEIC accreditation.

The society also offers postgraduate programmes and expert diplomas, including master’s degrees in clinical echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, cardiac intervention imaging, and cardio-onco-hematology. Several programmes are accredited by Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. Through membership, SEIC provides access to educational content and resources for the cardiac imaging community.
