ecoí. net covers over 160 reliable sources, including the United Nations, international non-governmental organizations, news and media services, and government departments dealing with asylum and refugee issues. Their comprehensive country of origin information encompasses human rights dimensions, political and living situations, ethnic groups and cultural traditions, and assessments of security situations.

Although there is a focus on countries of origin of asylum applicants in Europe, ecoí. net strives to provide equal access to high-quality COI for all individuals involved in asylum cases or other forms of international protection. Managed by ACCORD, a department of the Austrian Red Cross, ecoí.
