École des métiers

L’École des Métiers Dijon Métropole is an apprenticeship and vocational training centre based in Longvic, serving learners and businesses in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. It prepares people for careers in sectors with recruitment needs, including food, hospitality and catering, hairdressing, automotive services and sustainable mobility, retail and sales, floristry, and accounting and management. Training combines workplace learning with practical instruction across 15 technical facilities, including workshops, laboratories, and salons, supported by a network of partner companies.

The school offers apprenticeship programmes, continuing education for employees, and support for employers seeking apprentices or staff. Its services also include guidance on apprenticeship opportunities, company visits, training for apprenticeship supervisors, and help with pre-registration. Learners can access student support, accommodation information, employment opportunities, and European and international mobility services. The school also provides practical services through its insertion initiatives, including a sewing workshop, brasserie, and laundry service, and makes professional spaces available for rental. Its stated priorities are passing on vocational skills, nurturing passion, and pursuing excellence through personalised support and relevant training.
