About Ecology Law Quarterly
Ecology Law Quarterly, established in 1971, is an esteemed and long-standing brand that publishes scholarly articles on environmental law. With four issues released each year, ELQ offers a platform for pioneering research on critical topics such as renewable energy, environmental justice, and international environmental law. In 2008, Ecology Law Currents, an online companion journal, was launched to provide more frequent publication of thought-provoking pieces.
Run by dedicated Berkeley Law students, ELQ fosters a community of like-minded individuals passionate about the environment. The staff even partakes in two outdoor adventures annually, exploring Yosemite in the fall and Tahoe in the spring. Additionally, ELQ supports students through writing awards, public interest summer fellowships, and a diversity scholarship.
