Ecomedia

Eco Media is a project of Pentapolis Institute ETS focused on environmental information in Italy. It brings together reporting, analysis and perspectives on how environmental issues are covered, with the aim of supporting informed public discussion and the country’s progress toward sustainable development goals. Its website publishes news on topics including climate change, energy transition, recycling, sustainable mobility and the social impacts of environmental challenges.

The project also offers the Eco Media Academy, which provides professional training for journalists on communicating complex environmental subjects. Courses address themes such as sustainable mobility and the Green Deal, and may offer continuing education credits. Through the Stati Generali dell’Informazione Ambientale, Eco Media convenes discussion around key issues in environmental communication. Its other activities include the Rapporto Eco Media, a review of press coverage, a prize, and a gallery of related materials. Together, these resources serve journalists and readers seeking accessible information, data and debate about the environment. Eco Media is based in Rome and is operated by Pentapolis Institute ETS.
