About International Economics Olympiad
The Economics Olympiad, founded in 2016 by the Institute of Economic Education (INEV) and Martina Bacik, has evolved into a prestigious global high school competition engaging approximately 80,000 students worldwide. Designed for students aged 14 to 20, the Olympiad promotes economic and financial education with support from esteemed entities like Ministries of Education and Central Banks. The program aims to equip young individuals with essential economic literacy for informed decision-making and global participation.
With exponential growth from 4,000 to 80,000 participants by 2023, the Olympiad's impact is evident in its ability to inspire and engage young economists.
