Bruxelles Économie et Emploi is a public service of the Brussels-Capital Region focused on developing a sustainable economy and employment. Its website helps businesses, aspiring entrepreneurs, workers and individuals find practical guidance on regional support and administrative procedures. Visitors can explore how to start, manage or develop a business, access worker training information, and learn about work authorisations for non-European nationals. The service also provides information about subsidies, including support for investment, exports and sustainable business models, and helps users identify the steps relevant to their needs.
Its resources cover a range of economic sectors, including food, retail, construction, tourism and service vouchers. The organisation highlights support for urban agriculture projects and promotes workplace diversity as a regional employment priority. Through Brucefo, it offers guidance to established companies and prospective start-ups in the agri-food sector at different stages of their projects. The website also provides practical tools and directories, such as an overview of approved coworking spaces, business registries, publications, public procurement information and online services, alongside current news and contact details.
