About Eco-Sud
Eco-Sud is a non-governmental organization dedicated to creating a sustainable Mauritius where the rights of nature are acknowledged and where everyone can enjoy a good quality of life. Our main mission is to fervently protect the environment and biodiversity of the Mauritian territory for present and future generations. To fulfill this mission, Eco-Sud is determined to: raise awareness and educate the public on ecological issues, bring together and mobilize a strong and engaged civil society, defend and safeguard threatened species and sites in Mauritius, and promote a balance between economic development, social progress, and environmental protection.
