Ecotones Landscapes, Inc. is a locally owned and operated landscape design and build company serving San Luis Obispo County and California’s Central Coast. Founded by Greg Frugoli in 1999, the company brings more than two decades of regional experience and knowledge of local microclimates to residential and commercial projects.

Its team designs, installs, and maintains outdoor spaces, with services that include estate maintenance, irrigation, stonework, woodwork, and the use of native and drought-tolerant plants and materials. Each project is shaped around the property, the client’s intended use, long-term plans, and budget, with the goal of creating an outdoor environment that reflects its owners. Ecotones develops entertainment yards for gatherings, modern landscapes with patios, paths, planters, and structures, and relaxing gardens designed to highlight natural beauty.

Its work combines practical, low-maintenance choices with visual appeal, using elements such as concrete, wood, stone, and carefully selected plants. The company helps transform backyards, front yards, and other outdoor living spaces throughout its service area
