About EUROPEAN CENTER
European Center For Sustainable Development (ESCDEV) is an international, cross-disciplinary center that was founded in Rome on February 10, 2010. ESCDEV focuses on all aspects of the environmental impacts of socio-economic development. They aim to promote rigorous and objective empirical research on sustainability science to support decision-making by government and industry.
ESCDEV offers a wide range of products and services to disseminate the results of their research. These include publications, workshops, educational programs, and other public outreach activities. Their publications cover various topics such as economic development, financial sustainability, microfinance, energy and environmental economics, food security, water and soil conservation, renewable energies, and climate change.
The center is supported by a distinguished International Advisory Board consisting of global scholars in different fields related to sustainability. They collaborate with researchers and experts from universities around the world, including Ryerson University in Canada, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in Italy, Kyoto University in Japan, and many others. With their comprehensive approach and expertise, ESCDEV plays a vital role in advancing sustainability science and contributing to global efforts for a more sustainable future
