Ecuadane is not just your ordinary blanket company, it's a brand that aims to inspire and remind us to slow down, take a breath, and cherish life with our loved ones. It all started with the founder, Nicolai, who bought his first Ecuadane blanket in 2011. Since then, the brand has grown exponentially.
In 2016, they opened their first e-commerce shop with 500 beautifully designed and handwoven blankets. Today, Ecuadane has expanded to thirty-seven wholesale locations, including five international ones. Ecuadane is a blend of Danish and Ecuadorian traditions and craftsmanship.
Their premium blankets are not only visually appealing but also washable, durable, and come with a lifetime guarantee. They believe in the power of connection and their blankets are designed to bring people closer together. Moreover, Ecuadane is committed to sustainability and uses eco-friendly materials like alpaca, wool, and recycled textiles.
Alpaca wool is hypoallergenic and lightweight, while wool helps regulate temperature and wick away moisture. By using recycled textiles, Ecuadane reduces waste and contributes to a circular economy.
