écuries de Ste-Hélène

Écuries de Sainte-Hélène is an equestrian facility in Sainte-Hélène, in France’s Médoc region, between Saint-Médard-en-Jalles and Lacanau, on the Bordeaux–Lacanau route. The stables are led by Romuald Besnier, a professional rider and state-qualified instructor, and offer horse boarding and riding lessons.

Set in a quiet forest environment, the fully enclosed 40-hectare property is equipped for horse care and training. Its facilities include two illuminated, watered arenas, a horse walker, a canter track and several paddocks. Horses receive daily supervision, and the site is monitored by video surveillance.

The stables serve riders and horse owners in Sainte-Hélène and across the Médoc and Gironde, with Bordeaux and Lacanau both within convenient reach. Visitors can contact the team to learn more about boarding arrangements and lessons. The website also features competition news and results, documenting Romuald Besnier’s participation in regional show-jumping events with his horses.
